On 15th April 2025, the Abu Dhabi Inner Circle of Luxury Wedding Planners Chennai Edition opened in style at Sage & Lavender, Chennai, setting a luxurious tone for the multi-city workshop series hosted by the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau.
The vibrant Chennai crowd, comprising the city’s top wedding planners, dived deep into the world of Abu Dhabi’s rich wedding & celebration offerings — from majestic desert resorts to city-based luxury hotels. The elegant venue created an intimate yet energetic setting for planners to engage directly with stakeholders.
The event was graced by leading representatives from Abu Dhabi’s top wedding and hospitality brands. In attendance were Mr. Ranga Nayak from Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Anand Punjani from Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi, Ms. Soniya Sharma Rajwani from Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Ms. Deeba Sayed from Miral Destinations, Ms. Mariam and Ms. Elah Alonzo from VOGO Abu Dhabi Golf Resort, Mr. Raj Bangera from Bling Tourism, and Ms. Prachi Das from Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau. Their collective presence ensured an insightful, first-hand glimpse into Abu Dhabi’s diverse wedding venues and experiences.

Interactive Q&A sessions and one-on-one networking allowed planners to ask about everything from logistics to local wedding customs. The evening ended with curated food, networking, and a buzz of ideas to take Chennai weddings mainstream in Abu Dhabi.
